hi folks, just a quick html to give you a small impression of our work. most of these pics are fun projects, created in our free time, or to expand our skills. i know, this page will never get an award for design, but this is not my intention. better a f$%&ing html with our work than nothing ;-)

our latest projects:
a new winning picture, this pic was voted to the 1st place at the raytrace competition at 'the party'. ok, we accept the critics that this picture won because these yellow characters are very popular ;-). but please pay attention to all the work and the time we have spend to this project.

one of the first testrenderings of bart. we tried to apply a small sss effect but the problem is that the ska plugin we have used doesnt work with hdr lightning. so i add a small spot with 10% to the scene and set the sss effect to 400% boost. due the lag of time we doesn't include the sss effect into the final release. but maybe ...

some facts about this project. characters and chessboard are subpatch models. white (blue) and green (mauve) objects are the same but different surfaces. the scene needs around 1gb ram during rendering, resolution 1024x768, medium aa, subpatch level 3, backdrop radiosity at 16x48 and shading noise reduction. lightning via hdr and 10% ambient light. overall polycount on subpatch level 3 is 750k.

you know the game, the board is a nurbs object with around 40.000 control polygons. a hdr, made from photos of our office, is used for the lightning. the third picture is a close up, i have over effected the dof, but i have added scattered subsurface lightning to the white balls. this is a very subtle effect ;-)

here is a small hdr, its not the one we have used for this picture but it is similar, just rotate this because this is from the top of the sphere.

what is real?

here is the latest project we have made for our advertising. this is a visualization of an existing sony vaio notebook. our goal is to create a prototype like visualization without the help of photo textures.


keyboard and main body without phototextures

this micro was created for a cd front cover. we have do this for a friend for a few meals and the honor ;-), this is a freezed nurbs object

the robot, first created for a cover for maz soundtools, now my just for fun object, i add more details everytime i found some time, nurbs based, everything is real, no bumbs or clips, object is very heavy, depending on the subpatchlevel the object uses up to 1 million polygons, all parts animated with hydraulics, a new head is in progress.

the rollcage, inspired by the game rollcage i start modeling different cars with this style, all objects are nurbs models, the one with the agressive tires is also usable as a normal polygon model, i use this models also for global illumination tests with high dynamic range pictures
